Entry ordering that projects for the installation of additional protective devices be authorized for the public grade crossings identified in Finding 4; that the preliminary engineering and construction costs associated with these installation projects be funded as set forth in Finding 5; that in accordance with staff's recommendations, the railroads file with the Commission's Railroad Division within 90 days of the date of this entry, site plans, cost estimates, and proposed time schedules for the installation of automatic protective devices at these crossings as set forth in Finding 7; that all interested local governmental entities having jurisdiction of the roadway at the crossings identified herein, apply for Commission finding of up to $3,000 for supplemental improvements at these crossings during the pendency of the construction projects by filing an application with the Commission's Transportation Department, Rail Division. |
