Entry ordering that the requests for waiver filed by Ameritech and Century are granted in their entirety; AT&T's request for waiver is dismissed as premature; GTE's and Benton Ridge's requests for waiver of the disconnection policy as applies to their central offices which are served by electromechanical switches are granted, but only for a limited period until March 14, 1997; GTE's other two waiver requests pertaining to the need to implement selective toll blocking and dePICing are both granted; Columbus Grove's waiver request pertaining to the required implementation of selective toll blocking and/or dePICing is granted as requested; and that the waiver requests filed by Champaign and Columbus Grove pertaining to the need to comply with disconnection notice requirements are both granted; that, in accordance with Finding 14, GTE and Benton Ridge shall each file, by no later than February 28, 1997, a report setting forth the company's formal position with respect to the staff's tentative conclusions as described in Finding 12. |
