(AUTHORITY) Now comes Lake States Cartage, Inc. (the "Transferor") and Long & Cheney Trucking, Inc, (the "Transferee"), through their representatives, and state as follows: 1) Operating Certificate No. 11167-I authorizes the transportation of feed, feed ingredient, seed, fertilizer, farm supplies and grain, from and to the Kenton commercial zone and Hardin County subject to certain re- strictions as described in the Certificate attached hereto: 2) Transfer has provided service pursuant to Certificate No. 11167-I and there is substantial public demand for such services. The services must be continuously provided or the public interest will suffer; 3) If the service being offered pursuant to Certificate No. 11167-I, is discontinued the future operation of Long & Cheney Trucking, Inc. will be adversely affected, and the value of the operating authority being transferred will decling dramatically; 4) It is necessary that temporary transfere of Certificate No. 11167-I be granted forthwise so that continuous and adequate service to the public be maintained. |
