11/29/2005Finding and order ordering that SBC will continue to handle IntraLATA 1+ calls until CenturyTel customers select an IXC or until midnight February 28, 2006, whichever occurs first. On midnight February 28, 2006, any CenturyTel customer that has not selected another IntraLATA 1+ carrier will automatically be assigned to CTLD for such calls, under 47 CFR 64.1120(e); that any CenturyTel customers affected by SBC's decision not to continue as an intraLATA 1+ carrier will not be charged for changing to another intraLATA toll provider; that when a CenturyTel customer selects an IXC for intraLATA toll traffic because of SBC's toll service withdrawal, SBC will compensate CenturyTel as discussed in Finding (8); that aside from the compensation indicated in Finding (8), SBC and CenturyTel are each responsible for their own respective costs incurred as a result of the joint application; that during January 2006, applicants expeditiously mail the customer notice approved by the Commission in this Finding and Order.5
