          5               At this time the Public Utilities

          6   Commission of Ohio has assigned for hearing at this

          7   time and place Case No. 16-2271-TR-CVF in the Matter

          8   of Jonathan Hanson, Notice of Apparent Violation and

          9   Intent to Assess Forfeiture.

         10               I'm Jim Lynn.  I'm the Attorney Examiner

         11   assigned to this case, and at this time we will hear

         12   the appearances of the parties.  We will begin with

         13   the Ohio Attorney General's Office.  Mr. Eubanks.

         14               MR. EUBANKS:  Robert Eubanks on behalf of

         15   the Public Utilities Commission.

         16               EXAMINER LYNN:  And your address, please.

         17               MR. EUBANKS:  30 -- 30 East Broad Street,

         19               EXAMINER LYNN:  Thank you.

         20               And, Mr. Hanson, your name and address.

         21               MR. HANSON:  Jonathan Wayne Hanson, 4419

         24               As far as our procedures today, first,

         25   we'll hear from staff and Mr. Eubanks, and then we'll

          1   go from there.  Gentlemen, please continue.

          2               MR. EUBANKS:  On behalf of the staff, the

          3   officer is not here today.  And we would like to move

          4   for a continuance in order to have the officer come

          5   and testify at a later date.

          6               EXAMINER LYNN:  Okay.  I appreciate the

          7   explanation.  I think in fairness to Mr. Hanson I'll

          8   deny that motion for a continuance.  Mr. Hanson

          9   traveled a long way from out of state, and it

         10   wouldn't be fair to him to have to return.

         11               Were there any other comments staff

         12   wanted to make?

         13               MR. EUBANKS:  No.

         14               EXAMINER LYNN:  Okay.

         15               MR. EUBANKS:  In the absence of that, I

         16   guess we'll just request a dismissal of the charges.

         17               EXAMINER LYNN:  Okay.  Thank you.  I will

         18   take that into consideration.  And with that being

         19   said, I believe that wraps up the proceedings for
